St. Hubert's Hideaway offers a unique hunting experience for outdoor enthusiasts, but also some of the best scenery and privacy the midwest has to offer. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee or watching the sunset by the fire pit may be the best part of your stay.

The main location is nestled in a typical midwest style valley surrounded by rolling hills, native grasses, scenic trees, and amazing sunrises and sunsets. The property sits on 320 acres and is being further developed into an outdoor destination from hunting and fishing, kayaking and hiking, to relaxation and comfort. Most evenings the sites and sounds of various wildlife or laughter will entertain you, not city hustle and bustle.

All-Inclusive Seasonal Pheasant Hunts:
3 Days, 4 Nights: Starts at $2,000/Hunter for groups of 10-13. 2 Day late season hunts available as well for smaller groups of 4-9. Availability, needs and size of group will determine final price. From the time you rise until you return to the comfort of your bed we offer everything during the day to make your trip more relaxing. Meals, guiding, bird cleaning, transportation, practice, and good night sleeps.

Property Use: Starts at $1000/Lodge/Night, rates include taxes and cleaning fees. Long term, weekly, exclusive, and special event rates are available. Looking for a summer vacation, family retreat, or peace and quiet with family and friends, this may be your last stop.

Fishing, ​Trap & Rifle Ranges, Special Hunts and various outdoor activity options are available during your stay. Rates, guide referrals and information can be provided upon inquiry. There are three public, 9 hole golf courses within 30 minutes. There are two major Missouri River reservoirs less than an hour away as well.

The Main Lodge was the original homestead farm house. The house has been renovated to include all of the amenities a group could desire for a fun getaway. Several features make the home unique but also relaxing so you can enjoy your time together peacefully. This lodge comes with 5 bedrooms, 13 beds, 3.5 baths, large kitchen and dining area, fireplace, game room, lockers, mud room, indoor dog kennels, and workout room.

Bedrooms - three bedrooms upstairs including one with private bath, all together a total of 7 beds(twins, fulls and queens) - two downstairs including two fulls and four twin XLs.

The Barn Lodge is now Open. We started taking reservations in 2021 for both lodges. Positioned next to our new water feature, the view from this location is the pride of our property. The foundation of the lodge is a 100 year old granary which has been modified to a full scale lodge.
This lodge features 6 bedrooms, 13 beds, bridal suite, full kitchen, 3.5 baths, mud room, fireplace(coming soon) and loft. There will be patio doors that open to the outdoor fire pit and to the eventual dock which overlooks one of three adjacent lakes on the property. Be one of the first to stay in this facility as we continue to enhance the details for our guests.

Our guests define the history of this property. Their experiences, stories, sharing, laughter, and memories are what make this place special. The solitude of this location is what most of our guests long for. It's relaxing and provides experiences they don't encounter in almost any other place they travel to or frequent. There's a special reason some of our guests have been coming back to this area for over 30 years.

OUR HISTORY
St. Hubert's Hideaway property was purchased and business founded in 2017 by the GW and Chad Ekroth families. Both Ekroths were raised near this property, and have been instrumental in pheasant hunting and guiding in the area for the past 30 years. GW Ekroth still farms with their father, Gary Ekroth, on the nearby Ekroth Ranch, the location where hunters were previously housed.
The new property serves as an expansion of a long lived hunting tradition at the Ekroths. We strive to make each guest feel welcomed and encouraged to come again.
